Dismounted Soldiers often carry heavy combat loads that increase the stress on the body leading to potential injuries. With a HULC exoskeleton, these loads are transferred to the ground through powered titanium legs without loss of mobility.

The HULC is a completely un-tethered, hydraulic-powered anthropomorphic exoskeleton that provides users with the ability to carry loads of up to 200 lbs for extended periods of time and over all terrains. Its flexible design allows for deep squats, crawls and upper-body lifting. There is no joystick or other control mechanism. The exoskeleton senses what users want to do and where they want to go. It augments their ability, strength and endurance. An onboard micro-computer ensures the exoskeleton moves in concert with the individual. Its modularity allows for major components to be swapped out in the field. Additionally, its unique power-saving design allows the user to operate on battery power for extended missions. The HULCs load-carrying ability works even when power is not available.

  • The blank amorality on display here is as shameless as it is terrifying. A long-dreamed-of technology, which would surely help disabled people the world over, and save countless workers from serious injury - yet it has been expressly harnessed to enhance the killing power of the stormtroopers of the American Empire. What a world ...

  • @Mrarmageddon8 the body armour would still have to go underneath it, meaning you would still have to carry it.

  • I suppose we don't have technologies to create a perfect exoskeleton. Not yet. I'm strong enough to do all that stuff from video without any suit. Besides, I can run much faster. I mean, we can put this money on some profitable things. On sports equipment, for example))

  • Will this enable them to rise up against those really responsible for 9/11? Remember Building 7

  • When they will find a robot to replace human, you'll cry people. You don't imagine what is going on brothers...

  • @Mrarmageddon8 soldiers are expendable.

  • But how good is the grip of the footing? Would it be able to be flexible for movements such as climbing a rock face/high wall?

  • there are two other suits like this, that if the military was to find a way to make the two suits into one, we would have realities version of the iron man suit.

  • @imgordonfreeman YOU CAN'T GO THERE!
