  • @Goergebenson if you take a akido master and put them in a ring where most akido moves are illiegul then yes the mma fighter would most likly win. take thouse two same fighters and put them in a street, the outcome would be veary different you cant use breaks and wrist locks in a mma fight. gloves make wrist locks almost impossible, but in the street anything goes that mma fighter would have his ass handed to him.

  • I absolutely love this movie. I have studied Aikido for over 6 years and am very much a beginner. many days, I just don't feel like going to class, or want class to end early, but every time I watch this video I am inspired to train even harder. Aikido is an amazing art, it is very technicial and very physically challanging. I have to always rememeber "show me what you've got, when you've got nothing left" When I feel like quitting, I watch this video

  • @SHARKREEF2011 i hit hard, and a good hit on the temple can kill lol.

  • @darkdrake13 now ni know u dont fight.lots of punches DO NOT knock them out.including temple/nose.depends on how hard u hit,and how tough the other one is.

  • This is B.S

  • there is some truth to this, there are a lot of schools that don't teach a practical approach and the students have a false sense of fighting knowledge. depends on the sensei. I studied muay-thai for a good part of my life and have no desire to learn how to dance. someone I highly respected introduced me to a side of aikido I didn't know existed, and it was brutal. At my school anyway, if you didn't move or hesitated you got hit. Randori was harsh, but damn good fun. Old school..

  • everyone on youtube is a martial arts master

  • MAESTRAZO!!!

  • @SHARKREEF2011 yeah, i have, im positive a punch to the nose or to the temple is a definite knock out.Of course im talking about a fight in the street not in a ring.

  • @darkdrake13 knock him out?

ever been in a fight,or sparred?

    it aint the movies

  • @DancingSpiderman idiot.all akido student s up to instructor get thrown, and roll.its the first thing u learn,AND later,u warm up by rolling ,etc.we rolled on concrete when we were good enough
