I want to get something straight. If I have a 3gs, with a model number of MC135LL, the first five of my serial numbers are 83941 and have upgraded to 3.1.3 thru iTunes. I'm basically screwed and can't use snowbreeze 3.1.3 to jailbreak it?

I have a new 3gs replacing my 3g will this help jailbreak it as when I do it with blackrain it crashes evrytime it has to re-boot and then I have to restore
