Should Christians be allowed to work jobs where if they were raptured it would result in the injury or mass death of people? I say NO! What do you think?

Even though this video is a satirical/rhetorical exercise, in reality it is also valid. Many people are banned from certain types of employment because of their condition or religious belief already. I am sure that if one has epilepsy, narcolepsy, bipolarism, schizophrenia etc, they are not eligible for many critical occupations. The FBI, CIA and even the general public are not going to put fundamentalist Muslims into elected office or in positions where they can bring about mass death or compromise the security of the country. I for one would never have a Santeria family pet set my dog or let a Muslim mullah or Catholic priest baby sit my grand children. Why would anyone who believes they could be raptured any second work an occupation where their sudden absence would most likely result in a terrible event killing one or many of their fellow human beings? If they truely believe this doctrine and they are not evil to the core, they would quit such critical occupations and find more suitable work like flipping burgers or sweeping floors.

  • My sister had childhood leukemia at the age of six, and yes with prayers and good doctors she was cured.

  • @julieturcios41 Without medical science she would be dead. Nothing fails like prayer.

  • @Netwriter and medical science would not be here without knowledge. The knowledge and wisdom that God gives men to be able to advance in medicine.

  • @JohnEboy777 BS. Why didn't your god give this knowledge to folks 4K years ago? Seems it too the enlightenment, the loss of control by your religion and the emergence of science for MAN to figure it out. Your god knows nothing of science or medicine because he is nothing but the invention of bronze age savages.

  • If you only new how I care. Dont you know that Gods intentions are not to distoy anyone, we are doing that on our own, He wants to save us but we gave free wil and the only wayos for you to look for him. God loves everyone but hates sin, so not everyone will fo because of that.

Thats why I said, why worry? Anyway the children are saved, And my job is pray for people like you and my heart goes out to you. Its ok to be scared, but its better to know were you will be. GOD BLESS.

  • @julieturcios41 Your god is supposedly omnipotent, so if he want everyone to be save we will be saved. Also if he is omni, then freewill is impossible.

If prayer works, as you seem to believe, pray for a cure for childhood leukemia. According to John 14:12-13 it is a done deal, unless Jesus was lying.

    May Zeus Bless you.

  • @HAAKONNSKER You don't show proof because you don't have any.

There is nothing virtuous about faith, it is all just gullibility.

  • Netwriter, I like your ideas from a satirical stand point. However, there's a little thing called the Constitution that keeps laws like those from being made. Aw hell, nobody cares about the Constitution anymore, anyways.

  • @julieturcios41 Nothing gets nothing done like praying.

  • Oh PLEASE God take all these mental Christians from my planet, so we can live our lives without these nutters quoting out of a book as if it is proven fact, funny how they always seem to be preaching hate and bigotry

  • Oh, It makes you wonder..

  • Not more insurance! :) I certainly agree that allowing people that believe they will evaporate in a moments notice should not be allowed to be taken seriously. Therefore, they cannot be allowed to function in society where their belief can effect another living thing. So in addition to your video I say they can't garden or have animals either.

  • @Netwriter Amen Zeus
