3-2-1 Contact segment from 1979. Here, you will get to see a behind the scenes look of how a KISS concert is put together. You see the stage crew put it together. This is a very rare look from a science show. One of the stage crew explains how light and colors work.

  • @Motorcyclephil I hope you got an A for your effort! I remember seeing this when i was in kindrgarden and i already had joined the KISS army....ah the memories!

  • @evanisovich Thanks so much for pointing out that I could have been seeing this episode in 1981. I was born in 1975...

  • Boy, am I in good company here (evanisovich especially; maybe I have my year wrong and was actually 1981). But anyway, when this episode aired I was 4 (!!!) and the idea that a science show could get a pre-K totally hooked on pyro and metal shenanigans was just UNHEARD OF. Do today's American kids get to see ANY HALFWAY DECENT BANDS through an intelligent lens like this? NOPE. Tragic.

  • This episode of 321 Contact, made me a KISS fan at the age of 6. It was poster day at school, and all the kids brought Superman, Batman, and Spiderman posters, and I bought it a KISS poster to class.

  • KISS was my first ever favorite rock-n-roll band and at the age of 9, I got to see them perform here on 3 2 1 Contact. What a treat!!! I remember catching the re-run again a few months later before going to school (It was on early in the morning) and how I was pumped up for school that day! And by the way, Trini & Lisa....total babes!

  • My 5th grade teacher played this episode in class one day. I'll never forget. Back then I thought kiss was the end all be all. Probably my favorite day of that whole year.

  • I actually remember seeing this very segment when I was 4 years old in 1981. It was obviously a re-run seeing as this was originally from 1979. So every time I think of 3-2-1 Contact, I think of KISS.

  • 8 trucks for a KISS show?...Hell, big stage shows these days are double that

  • @KISSfan888 IATSE, baby!!! Still building shows at a venue near you!!

  • I always wondered who they would get in contact with to make these shows happen. Somebody's gotta make the spectacle that makes the KISS show!
