Chancellor was quoted as saying he hated taping these promos; never really knowing if these network "affiliates" were actually doing adequate local news coverage.

I've always wondered how many of these local spots the network guys do (especially considering how many affiliates each network has.)

Mystic0157, he was an ICON in WEST Tennessee too. I loved that he came home to Nashville, where he belonged...and that he died in his hometown, on the street where he grew up. You can't get more poignant than that.
