So... this is fun huh? Sorry to say this video is totally blowing up for all the wrong reasons.

During the arrest she looked very young and people around me were saying she was 7 or 8. Online they said she was 12 and looking at the video and one of the photos I took of the march which she is in, that seemed right.

But... as you probably know by now, she's actually 18. She still shows a tremendous amount of courage, smiling after being huddled over by a dozen or so cops, not to mention being arrested kinda sucks for anyone of any age.

I will be doing some rough editing of this via youtube so that where it is written about people will see the corrections and know the truth. If I simply take it down that information won't reach as many. First I have to go to 2 job interviews though so it will have to wait till this afternoon.

Also: if the young woman in this video sees this: Please accept my apology and please contact me if you can.

  • yelling SHAME and LET HER GO is not going to help!!! retards!!!

  • @flagtheif What would you suggest?

  • @OSRADIS just do what they say! they are the Law. Even if we don't like it. Or maybe do more then just yell words. pick your battles. now people have criminal records because you wanted to stand in the street and for what? did it help??? no!!!

  • @flagtheif 1. I was not in the fray and was not a protester. I was there to observe and cover and to let people around the globe see what was going on. 2. This is how it will actually begin to matter. A month in there are now over 900 cities worldwide with occupations going on and it is because of footage like this that people know they are not alone in wanting major change. 3. Not much of a criminal record. Most of these people will have it expunged and the others will be found innocent.

  • Hey guys, that's me getting arrested.

It's quite hard for me to tell my side of the story over the internet and especially in so many different places. My tumblr has my POV of the situation. Please read it @ mcgoogleheim.tumblr

(yes, I suppose you can say I went from 'sympathetic observer into an activist' )

  • @KatTheMongoose Hi! Glad you posted a comment on here. Sorry for the misunderstanding about your age in the beginning... lots of misinformation was up that night and.. well... shit happens I suppose.

  • Okay people 1.) in the beginning she was calling her mom and her mom said, to be taken in a cop car was the safest way off the bridge.

2.) she was a photographer taking pictures not protesting

    3.) she's 18

4.) the 'hesitation' you saw her doing, was actually the people protesting holding her back.

5.) she was treated nicely and she said her officer was nice to her

6.) she was wearing an invader zim: GIR hat (hehe pretty amazing)

No need to go balls off the walls >.<

  • Thats my friend.... like seriously, she's my friend XDDDD

  • @3077BIODROID You saw the video! The police officers arrested an innocent woman who did absolutely nothing to disturb the peace.

  • • _____who think they are entitled to everything. You heard what happened in Oakland recently. Its a riot, not a protest. Its the first time I have see the riot control force out in the streets with Calvary and riot shields. They vandalized the Mayor's office. You call that a protest? I am all for freedom of speech, not freedom of violence and this shit that we have in this country. This is unintelligent of me to say this next comment, but Fuck all of you protesters, fuck you all and hopefully__

  • • This is bullshit. This protest is turning into a riot. The police are doing their job and I am proud of them for that. These people are scum of the Earth who don't work and who think they are entitled to everything. I have looked at some of the comments and all I can see about the people for the protest is "fuck the police" and "kill cops, kill cops." I mean what kind of suck mother fucker would say something like that. You are the reason there are cops in the first place. Low-life dirtbags_

  • OMG , BUT ITS JUST A LITTLE GIRL!!!!!

  • @VinzZissou78 total pervy cop guys

  • @OSRADIS Yeah, you were there clambering to get a shot so you could have something interesting to put on your channel so maybe, just maybe you could be famous someday. You are no better than the people on American Idol. You don't care about anything but yourself. You don't want to struggle, you don't want to work, you just want to be worshipped. You and your generation have gotten everything you have ever wanted simply by shouting, so of course you shout and expect cops to listen to you.

  • @flagtheif There are laws such as our freedom of assembly protected by the constitution. These laws were put into place to protect situations like the civil rights movement. This situation is protected by the laws of the constitution. Also in this particular case, the people were led to the bridge by the police and then arrested for being there.

  • best way to solve a problem is to eliminate that problem, enough said.
