Once Upon a Dream Ch. 18

fanfic chapter 18

last time on "once upon a dream" series, lexi shows up at the park by her house. she tells the group that a group that a good place to look would be a special place down on the small bank of james creek. they immediately rush in hope to find them but are dissappointed once again to find no one there. lexi, joe, and kelly decide to go home and jordan walks back to his own house. the story leaves off with kevin still at james creek...




*suddenly kevin jumps.*

kevin: oh. my. gosh. why didnt i think of that before???!!! of course! i am such an idoit! ugh!!! *thinking-- when we first drove into this town, nick saw a little lake and cabin that was deserted. natuarally he would go there for alone time and eventually he would take someone special there. that someone special was christina. * THEY MUST BE THERE!!!

(kevin begins to walk north. it takes him almost three hours to reach the spot that he was searching for. the little lake was about 12 miles away but he didnt care. he wanted to find his little brother and girlfriend now and he was willing to walk any distance.)




**before kevin gets to the lake

christina: *she wakes up after her long nap and realizes she is in nicks arms still. she yawns and turns around to look at his face.* hi

nick: hey gorgeous

christina: haha gorgeous you must be kidding me. i jut woke up.

nick: you are still gorgeous.

christina: how bad do your ribs hurt?

nick: not too bad. especially when youre here.

christina: aww. thanks.

nick: *he leans in and kisses her on the cheek*

christina: sing me another song. please :)

nick: what do you want me to sing?

christina: i dont care just something; anything :)

(nick begins to sing her the song that he wrote for her. its called "a world i neve knew (till i loved you)". he finishes and watches a tear streak her face.)

nick: oh no. baby i didnt mean to make you cry! shhh shhh its ok. i promise im here. im not gonna leave.

christina: no no i wasnt crying out of sadness. im crying out of happiness. for the first time in nine months, im happy nick. im really happy. that song of yours made me cry because i know you love me. and thats something i wasnt sure i would ever feel again.

nick: *he holds her tight against his chest without pushing on his broken ribs*

christina: sing it again? please? please nick?

nick: ok baby. *he kisses her forehead and starts to sing her song again*

(this time christina really listens to his voice and not the words as much as the first time. she listens to each note that is hit in perfect timing and harmony. as nick sings, a tiny, little smile cracks across his lips. he closes his eyes and just enjoys singing. as christina watches and listens, she realizes something.)

christina: *thinking-- that voice sounds so familiar. his smile looks just like... OH MY GOSH!!!! NICK JONAS!!!*
