  • damm and this is just 20 years ago.. just thinking about how they competed 100 years ago.... probably kill or be killed.. but now these days.. a lot of compitions are horrible..

  • so its just really tiring to hear people talk down on traditional martial arts when they have no idea what its true purpose is.... does mma teach a deeper meaning rather than to just beat someone to death? it seems like to me that they dont respect others and just want to start a fight.. as to where traditional martial artist respect others and avoid fights because they know what they are capible of doing and they dont and wont brag about their skill...

  • @alterTrinityfang ohh ok thanks. i havent competed since i was under 18 so even in full contact we wore gloves.

  • @slam1n1 They are very common for JKA (Shotokan)...they are cotton knuckle guards....they are required for kumite for this style..along with a cup and mouth-guard of course

  • Can anyone tell me what they are wearing on their hands it seems like miniature gloves for only the knuckles i have competed many times nd have never seen those

  • @Gatsufication

    Jesus chill out.

dude when did i ever say karate was ALL about kill or be killed, maybe it was made to kill but yes like you said Karate itself is ethics and i totally believe that.

  • @kenseisato1989 Just go and kill yourself at your MMA competitions, and then complain...

That's not what all this is about. Karate itself is ethics, not kill or die.

  • Fantastic !

  • Sou Praticante de Shotokan

  • @deosullivan3

lol i got to train in both styles about several months for each.

  • @kenseisato1989 Shotokan. You?

  • @deosullivan3

amen, just wondering. are you a shotokan or kyokushin pracitioner?
