  • Buckethead = Music of heaven or music of HELL ???????????

  • Woodshed=Focused Practice/Applying theory to technique/developing technique...And no, I do NOT plagiarize-Might I point out that I have not released any original music onto the market /released any records so It is quite impossible for me to have plagiarized /thread

  • @nickshredsguitars 1: I'm sure you plagiarise without realising, even in subtle ways (e.g. listening to black keys - tighten up, i recognised the same chords as pepper's ghost)

    2: Wood Shed = Euphemism?

  • @INTOtheVOID11 Page has often admitted to plagiarism, with songs such as Babe I'm Gonna Leave You and When The Levee Breaks. Besides, ONCE AGAIN, all I'm saying is that they share a middle name. NO OPINIONS INTENDED.

  • Buckethead does not have to plagiarize anyone even though his catalogue dwarfs page... Unlike page,...I dont care what anyone says, when u have the SAME chord progression, in the SAME key, in the SAME meter, with the SAME harmonic rhythm, with the SAME voice leading for the chords, with the SAME lyrics...as someone years before you; that is musical dishonesty and brings NOTHING new to the table

  • I am a musician (I spend 10+ hours a day studying/in the wood-shed/I am a university student studying music... AND I HAVE YET TO FIND A SCENARIO where I needed to resort to plagiarism, in order to create musically cogent and original material.

  • @nickshredsguitars Jimmy Page not a great musician, good one. You do realize that all musicians plagiarize right? Page just admitted it more readily than others, not to mention that the majority of their "plagiarism" was just laziness on Plant's part to change lyrics. Every song that was supposedly plagiarized was made infinitely better by the Zep. Not to mention very few musicians have ever been able to compose as many timeless melodies AND solos as Jimmy Page was able to.

  • @playingforbritain Clapton isn't as good as Jimmy or Buckethead, he barely wrote anything. Most of his best songs were either covers or written with George Harrison or Duane Allman. Don't get me wrong, hes an awesome player. But Jimmy and Buckethead have both personally written countless masterpieces.

  • ah...very good then I concur with you, they are all Patricks
