Alberta is cutting funding to education and french immersion is primarily affected. My brother has been taking french since kindergaten he's in grade 11 and they are trying to cut the program at his school. Bilingual judges or the right to a bilingual judge seems fair. If that is the best way to give a fair trial to a citizen seeing as we are a bilingual country then so be it. They need to be able to communicate freely without things being lost in translation. Give us independence and all these problems will go away. We protect our language and culture because it's the only thing we have. English Canada has been destroyed by "multiculturalism". I go to Ottawa, what do I see? India, Pakistan, Somalia, etc etc. It's a shithole. Multiculturalism is and will always be a failure for the most part.

At english school, specfically high school and CEGEP, french students who's first language is french made good friends with english kids who's language is english, and vice versa. So to recap...french school = incredibly hostile and racist. English school = accepting and friendly. Just by experience, who's worse again? Can't help but think if one day, there weren't any more english people, hardcore Quebecois will turn on french speaking colored people.

Can we agree that the history of Quebec is french? The culture revolves around french and is very different from the rest of Canada (our values). Why is it bad for immigrants kids to go to french schools? It's the language of the province...

Quebec, while it helps people who were born in Quebec (Not outsiders), it still favours french schools above any others. Quebec also taxes their people TWICE (high provincial as well as federal), neglects funding in hospitals (Hence why people move OUT of Quebec, french included). Shit...Can't even win contests in Quebec.

The french students also started fist fights, which they lost by the way, and this continued the entire 2-3 years. My friend and his friends spoke french, spoke french primarily because it was a french school, and they still got shit treatment (cont)
