edit: this version is 3 years old but it was unreleased. Pity... I hope keim really finishes this one day.

This game has been in trial/uncompleted state for years but one good day, keim (the same guy who did the awesome nomltest OM NOM NOM), decided to actually update this thing.
And holy crap, this is awesome!

Despite the obvious Ikaruga references, this one is much funnier to play and the barrages are pretty much Raiden-speed.
You have three types of ships, one definitely similar to type C from DoDonPachi but with a bit less firepower and range but the same huge laser of that series, another one that releases infinite missile barrages of all the colours and kinds. The third has what some people will love the most: lock-on guided laser missiles! Yes, Ray Force all over again. And, man, I love it. All the ships have a bullet eating aura, yes, the game circles around bullet eating and killing enemies as fast as possible for a score multiplier and to unlock additional waves of enemies. Pressing the secondary weapon and the main one while also pressing the aura button will release a special drone that will launch a furious attack on the enemies. Quite nice.
Anyway, the game is still incomplete. Stage 1 works, everything is completely synchronised to the music and Stage 2 is partially complete... what a tease! Right when you are entering into the action, blam, Game Over.
PEW PEW.
By the way, special mention to the music. It's glorious. A mix of prog-rock and awesome keyboard solos at high speed and high picth, pretty '80s or from before those years. And the boss theme, yay, finally some rocks instead of the mind-numbing techno. It's also in ogg format.
I love that you get points for Holocaust. What a great message that sends out.
