shes mixing? what do u mean? you think idina could hit that kinda note? a c6 i mean? btw how bad is belting for ur voice? can it really damage it. im doing dancing through life from wicked for auditions and its such a challenge for me to sing i gotta belt it. but i never took voice only where i take theatre at. how bad is belting? i feel like without voice lessons or belting correctly ill never be able to be on broadway which is my dream:(

Mixing is a term that refers to singing that employs techniques of both the belt and the head voices together to create a sound that is lighter and make flexible than a belt, but stronger and more grounded than a head voice. Take voice lessons from a teacher who has experience with both classical and belt technique if you want to pursue performing.
Belting, when done properly, doesn't do any vocal damage...most people just don't do it properly, cuz it's hard.

i Love Sierra Boggess she is so stunning i want to see her in this so badly! Definitely like this better than the movie but the movie is awesome too!

Sierra left the show on May 31st. It's rumored (but not confirmed by anyone) that she will be starring as Christine in Andrew Llyodd Webber's Phantom sequel when it premieres in November.
