  • Salaamz sister, do you have your own Youtube channel? If not, you should. You can bring a lot of wisdom to the community and help us grow spiritually. I actually like the idea of reading Quran a few ayats at a time, but taking them in very deeply vs. just reading by rote. I wish I could recite as a true reciter. Is it against the rules to recite Quran if you don't know how it is done in the correct manner (like pro reciters do?)

  • @peaceiloveyou2 As-salaamu `alaykum, as far as I know, hajja Aisha Bewley does not have her own YouTube channel, but you can see her video and more scholars similar to her on the Ramadan TV website link that is on the video description.

  • May Allah bless you sister.

  • @MsMonmona Amin ya rabbi'l-`alamin.

  • @anlam2000 Are you using the excuse for Q 2:106? People called Muhammad a Muftari in 16:101, meaning a liar or a forger. Q 16:101 is all about changing verses in the Quran, you know it, I know it, the whole world knows it!

  • @kuttenkijker In Quran16:101 the verb used is " baddalna" roughly meaning switching, exchanging, not " nassakhna". Looking at the revelation circumstances( asbab-i nozoul) and the traditions scholars concluded that the verse is about replacing the law of the Torah with the law of the Qur'an.It should also be mentioned here that the verb "Nash" was used differently by early Islamic scholars. In the end, God knows what is in the heart of people. Peace .

  • @kuttenkijker As for abrogation in Qur'an, this is a contested issue among scholars and some of them say that there is no abrogation in Qur'an. Those who say it exist specify that verses involved in abrogation must contain legal tenets and disagree which ones are subject to abrogation. About Baqara 256 being abrogated by Tawbah 5 , one only need to read the next verse to see that it is simply not the case.

  • @kuttenkijker Qurtubi sasys in the tafsir of Qur'an 66:5 "it has already been mentioned [presumably earlier in the Jāmiʿ] that in the Ṣaḥīḥ [he doesn’t say here which one, so either Sahih Bukhari or Sahih Muslim] that this verse [66:5] was revealed ‘on the tongue of’ (ʿalā lisān) ʿUmar.” That is all he says. There’s an entire genre of literature written by Muslim scholars devoted to Muwāfaqāt ʿUmar, those verses said to have been revealed “in agreement with” (or through) ʿUmar.

  • @kuttenkijker Dear Readers, Sorry it has taken me sometime to research the validity of the claims put forth by this person. I must say before I relay the outcome of my research here that I am writing these not as a response to this person but as part of my responsibility to the dissemination of truth in the presence of slander and underhahdedness. I must use the reply link because I do not subscribe to unfairness.

  • @anlam2000 Why would I want to read a verse that is abrogated (nullified) by the verse of the sword (Quran 9:5)? Go read the Tafsir of al-Qurtubi, in there you can read that Quran 66:5 was ''revealed'' to Umar. Muslims are just miserable liars, a good example is you, you think that I don't know anything about islam and try to fool me with an abrogated aya. Quran 16:101, ring any bells? al-Nasikh wa' al-Mansukh, what a scam.

  • @kuttenkijker ; Qur'an agreed with Umar, not revealed to him.You can continue believing that "Islam is a scam and Muslims are all a buch of brainless imbeciles", but you need to substantiate your claims with facts or reason. Orherwise you would be running the risk of the same attributes falling on yourself. Please re-read Qur'an 2:256. Peace.

  • @MultiUmmar And what about al-Qurtubi? He was a famous scholar. Did you ever read the Tafsir of al-Qurtubi? It seems that Quran 66;5 was revealed to Umar, the father in law of Muhammad and his trusted counselor. Who was the prophet again? Muhammad or Umar? Islam is a scam and muslims are all a bunch of brainless imbeciles.

  • @Tothose

He would recite it twice a day, we can't perceive it today because the way the salaf studied quran is more effort and time then ours. They could read with tajweed and still quickly where you can understand what he is reciting. We seek Allahs aid and assistance to achieve this status

  • Just want to advise everyone to stop using the term " Scholar" so loosely. Stop It. If many of you really knew the high levels of knowledge and piety that the true Islamic scholar has you would not just throw that term around. Be careful. Imam Malik was a scholar Imam Ash-Shafi^iy was a scholar Imam Abu Hanifah was a scholar Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal was a scholar! Now these Imams were true Islamic scholars among many others in their time and after their time.

  • JazakAllah khairun sis

  • idont know about Imam shafai (ra) reading quran 60 times in ramadan.

  • may allah bless u sis very good thing u doing

  • jazakallah khaer sister may allah reward you.
