"Atheism requires too much faith." I believe in Evolution as well as the slow accretion of stars and worlds out of massive clouds of cosmic gas... you know, as much as it's possible to BELIEVE in something that's been PROVEN. As to God... I'm fairly agnostic, but I'm not at all against the notion of some kind of Prime Mover. I need proof to believe something, and I haven't seen anything definitive either way. I'm just pretty damned sure He/She/It is not the dude he's made out to be in books.

@tjwwe Evolution neither proves nor disproves the existence of God. I'm a Christian and I believe in evolution. There appears to be growing hostility to belief in God, but those who do believe have reasons for that particular belief. Timothy Keller wrote a very provocative book entitled "The Reason For God." This book proves that people who believe in God are rational and not deluded as Richard Dawkins thinks. He also is a believer in Evolution so it might be appealing to you.

this is a thousand times more elegant and beautiful than the idea of being spawned by magic out of nowhere in a single day.

@VashL2FK life is not perfect, we have plagues and sickness mutations and invalids.

WOW. do people actually believe in GOD? I was pretty sure it wasn't believed in anymore.... y'know, since pretty much MOUNTAINS of scientific evidence have been provided for evolution, which also makes more sense than an imaginary invisible floating man in the sky and all. what am i saying, people are incredibly stupid, of course there are people who still believe in it. HAH.
