Chopin's Nocturne in E flat major, Op. 9 No. 2.

The second song I learnt on piano. It took me 3 months and a half to learn all the notes and some of the dynamics. I've been self-studying piano for 11 months when I recorded this.

It's just a very early attempt to play this song, so I hope everyone can cope with some mistakes I made during the performance.

I'll post this as a milestone to my progress and I hope I may be able to post a more polished version soon.

Played on a Yamaha P-70, whose piano sound is wonderful (at least compared to a Privia PX-110).

  • Great! How did the left hand chords ope for you?? I am playing this piece at the moment and the left hand chords are hard! ANY tips on playing this ???Reply back when you can! Thanks!

  • @MusicClassical1 Hi, I think it's a little late, but anyway... I suggest you practice only the left hand jumps first and when you feel kinda confident, try to add the right hand melody. Keep doing this for small sections at a time. Good luck =)

  • How are the keys compared to a real piano ?

I am looking for a simple digital piano that feels like a real one. Is this a good option in that sense ?

    tks

  • Yes, I like Yamaha pianos very much, they sound pretty much realistic and the keys, at least for me, are good enough. I recommend.

  • how much cost your piano?

  • About U$ 1000, but it was almost 2 years ago.

  • Which is harder, this or Mozart piano concerto 21?

  • entediante...

  • You have to buy a sustain pedal :(

  • jaja. Bad Santa.

  • do you have the pedal?

  • wow!!! looks dificult to play chopin.

  • @xnp70 just try to get the keyboards with the full piano key. if u look at the keys at eye level and its those thin keys that make that poppy noise when you push it, u shouldnt get it. the full key keyboards are awesome
