  • Great video, I was planning to make a similar video with my 600d and 18-135mm, however it was sleeting all day where I live, and Im not ruining my camera :) I loved the shot at 1:09, just like something you would get in a film, keep up the great work

  • @RedSpectrumPictures thanks so much! We ran into the same problem with the rain, sleet and mist. We finally got lucky 15 days into December one night and went to film when the weather conditions were not as bad. Thanks again.

  • It wasn't out of focus and when it was, it was on purpose. It has to do with the style of the filming - most DSLR videos rack focus on different objects showcasing the depth of field of the lens. Also the blurring is just showcasing the blooming of the lights. Christmas lights in focus on camera do not look like what we see with our naked eye. Our naked eye views them in a blur, so most of the shots in here are trying to achieve the natural look of Christmas lights. I think the video looks

  • Out of focus most of the time, nice try anyways.

  • Great job, Brian and Ty!
