Al-Qaida réitère ses menaces contre les chrétiens arabes

3 jours après l’attentat meurtrier de Bagdad, la branche locale d’Al-Qaida a déclaré mercredi 3 novembre que tous les chrétiens étaient des « cibles légitimes »

La violence se déchaîne à nouveau en Irak.

Au moins 63 personnes ont péri et 285 ont été blessées mardi 2 novembre dans 11 attentats à la voiture piégée coordonnés dans plusieurs quartiers chiites de Bagdad.

Le groupement "État islamique d’Irak", branche locale d’Al-Qaida, avait envoyé un commando suicide avec des ceintures d'explosifs qui a attaqué la cathédrale syriaque catholique de Bagdad faisant 53 morts, dont 46 fidèles.

Le 3 novembre, Al-Qaida en Irak a lancé de nouvelles menaces :

" tous les centres, organisations, institutions, dirigeants et fidèles chrétiens sont des cibles légitimes pour les moudjahidins, là où ils peuvent les atteindre", affirme son communiqué.
