The introduction of Johnny Lawence of the dreaded Cobra Kai karate school. What a way to ruin the last night on the beach before the first day of school! His troubles were just beginning! He would later find out that he was the top student in the school when he would go check out the school before meeting with his mother for lunch. He thought he had it made with that karate course at the YMCA back ini Jersey before coming out to California. Man was he wrong! A great scene although a bit tragic.

shouldnt this be the other way around the nerd daniel knows karate and the bully johnny doesnt so it should be johnny getting his ass kicked

@DantheManO36O actually, Johnny does know Karate. That's why he's one of the top guys at the Kobra Kai dojo...whereas Daniel didn't learn karate until AFTER he got his ass beat in this scene. Remember he was practicing Karate lessons in a book before Miyagi decided to take him as a student.
