So this was a few days after Sarah and I had left the city of Kampala. We traveled up to Soroti, which is mainly a A-Teso tribe of Ugandans. We traveled to the market place from our Soroti house on Boda-Bodas, which were taxi bicycles. We then had a list of groceries and a chicken that we needed to purchase and somehow carry back on the Boda-Boda with us. Balancing sideways on the back of bike (due to the fact that we were wearing skirts and it was taboo for us to straddle) while holding a chicken upside down by its feet, is an interesting task, let me tell ya.
