@ewatchmandotcom Im not attributing words to u. I asked if an statement such as "Jesus is Almighty God" would convince u and u said yes. Please answer my question: Which verse convinces u that Jesus is Michael?
I shall answer yours. Rev. 3:14 calls Jesus the Ruler of God's creation not the beginning. Calling Jesus Jehovah doesnt takes away from Jehovah if Jehovah is Jesus. Jesus is not called a god, but God. I say that as a Greek speaker. The text cannot be translated otherwise.
@junglehappiness You are attributing words to me I did not say. And by the way, Jehovah's Witnesses do not reject the deity of Christ. Before the Word became flesh he was a god - a deity. But unlike God the Word had a beginning. Read Rev 3:14. The God created a god, an exact representation of his very being. Being a god takes nothing away from Jesus. But making him God Almighty certainly takes away from Jehovah, which is why the Devil so vigorously pushes his trinity fraud.
@ewatchmandotcom I read your article, but that is not what I'm after. I'm after a verse that states Jesus is Michael. No such verse was contained in the article.
The standard you demanded for the deity of Christ was an entire re-writing of the Bible to contain explicit verses yet you are willing to accept the watchtower teaching without any such evidence.
@junglehappiness First, I do not owe you anything. Secondly, I am not going to waste my time trying to explain something as involved as the Jesus/Michael connection in this tiny comments box, especially since, like I have already told you, I have explained it elsewhere in detail. If you really were interested you would consider it.
As it stands all your past few comments are being flagged by YouTube as spam. I wonder why...LOL
@junglehappiness If you are interested I have produced a YouTube video on the Jesus/Michael connection and also written an article on the BELIEFS page of my website.
@junglehappiness Yes, then, the Bible would have to be totally rewritten. As it stands the notion that Jesus is God is totally unbiblical. It is only made to appear to be supported by the Scriptures by the efforts of clever conmen who prey upon the ignorant.
@ewatchmandotcom Please answer my question. What would it take to convince you that Jesus is God?
If the thing required to convince you is not present in the Bible, then you are right not to believe. For example, if the Bible would need to explicitly say that "Jesus is Almighty God" to convince you, then tell me.
@junglehappiness Essentially you do believe in purple rabbits, even though I am quite certain one has never crossed your path. Your belief that Jesus was merely pretending to be the Son of God is just as absurd as your purple rabbit, yet you "believe."
@ewatchmandotcom Please answer my question. What would convince you?
E.g. I don't believe in purple rabbits. Yet if one knocked on my door I would consider this evidence convincing. Likewise, what would it take to convince you. I'm not suggesting that evidence exists. Simply, what would it take? I must also stress that neither you or I believe that Jesus has a 'real Father' in the natural human understanding. These titles describe role.
