can you plese explain what an overbite is

an overbite is when your upper teeth is over your bottom teeth. and an underbite is when your lower teeth is over lapping your upper teeth. Ill make a video about it in 2 weeks

hey Unique i also have an overbite and whenever i get my braces i'll be wearing them for 2 and a half yrs, i think. BTW you're pretty and u look older then 20 i'd say you look to be around 25 to 30 Kolerik

p.s. do u think clear braces look dumb? i'm getting clear porcelin on top and normal metal on bottom

i did the same thing of researching braces and i REALLY REALLY want braces but my mom said no and plus i have baby teeth=[

i have a gap too :)  and im having braces soon dont know when but i know that my next apointment is on the 31st of march 2010 i cant wait do you have any info on braces that could help?

I'm soooo scared! I had 3 root canals when I was 8-11 and now they're putting braces on me next week. I'm 13. I know its not gonna hurt, at least not as bad as the root canals, but they're adding this thing for "tongue thrusting" or whatever. It's like a wheel on the top of my mouth so I don't push my teeth back out with my tongue. Weird. They made my molds earlier today and gave me a booklet and talked about braces and stuff. :|

That's good to know, I'm 21 and getting braces tomorrow morning. Top teeth only but still nervous!
