O Baha'u'llah

I made this video in 2007 to accompany the beautiful oratorio "O Baha'u'llah," written by Tom Price and performed by the Voices of Baha chorale, with soloist Emily Price, and the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra. I used historic photos from the time of Baha'u'llah that signify the various stages of His ministry and persecutions. The contemporary photos are of Baha'is and Baha'i sites from around the world.

Avrel I've just studied this video again and I really think it is just brilliant the way you 'GOT' the music, the theme and the changes. The pictures you have chosen tell the song and lyrics perfectly. When the music changes to express the glory and power of Baha'u'llah, you change the style of the pictures to show what He has created or generated in this remarkable short span of time. For anyone else reading this comment, believe me this is not easy to do; takes a true artist's eye and ear.

That was just beautifully woven together (pictures and music) Avrel. So wonderful to be able to see. Emily is actually performing this same song tonight with Tom in Los Angeles for the Holy Day Celebration. Wish I could be there.

I performed with Rachel when she played a conference here in Austin several years ago, but she's the only price I've had the pleasure of meeting. (BTW, I mailed Tom a DVD of this video shortly after I finished it, but don't know if it ever made it to him.) Thanks again for commenting!

Wonderful video in accompaniment to an exceptionally powerful and beautiful masterpiece of composition and performance! Emily Price's voice is superb. I sympathize 100% with the person who broke down in tears at Wendy's while listening to it, because I do the same every time I play it. The lesson I've learned is that I have to be very careful to choose wisely where I'll be when I put it on!! Congratulations, Avrel, from snowy cold Canada!

@AvrelSeale Tom is my brother. I'm from the Australian side. You are a performer...singer? BTW, One of my best friends, Carol, is a Baha'i in Austin who used to live here in Oz. We go waaaaay back too far to list dates ! :-)
