FULL EPISODE BREAKDOWN:
Group performance: The Final 12 (Stacy Francis, Astro, InTENsity, Josh Krajcik, Drew Ryniewicz, Lakoda Rayne, Melanie Amaro, The Stereo Hogzz, Chris Rene, LeRoy Bell, Rachel Crow, and Marcus Canty) sing "Edge of Glory" by Lady Gaga.

The contestants are now going to sing holiday themed songs:

Performance: Melanie Amaro singing "All I Want For Christmas Is You"

Melanie's family and hometown give tributes to her through a video package.

Performance: Chris Rene singing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"

Chris' family, friends, and rehab therapist congratulate him through a video package.

Performance: Josh Krajcik singing "Please Come Home for Christmas"

Josh's teachers, choir instructor, and girlfriend wish him well through another video package.

Guest performance: Justin Bieber singing "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire" with Stevie Wonder. He then sings "Santa Claus is Coming to Town", accompanied by Drew Ryniewicz.

Results: Chris Rene finishes the competition in third place.

"Top 5 Shocking Moments" tribute, with Rachel Crow's meltdown being number one.

Performance: Leona Lewis singing "Run" (originally by Snow Patrol)

LA Reid vs. Simon Cowell battle of insults highlight video

Guest performance: 50 Cent singing "Wait Until Tonight" and "In Da Club" with Astro

Nicole Scherzinger vs. Paula Abdul in a cry-off highlight video

Guest performance: Pitbull and Neyo singing "International Love" and "Give Me Everything", featuring Marcus Canty.

Performance: (duet) Josh Krajcik and Melanie Amaro singing "Heroes" by David Bowie.

Final results: Melanie Amaro wins The X Factor USA's first season, with Josh Krajcik coming in second place.

Melanie Amaro sings "Listen", while crying to the point of not being able to speak properly.
