A beautiful tornado that was on the ground for 13 minutes. I saw this tornado with College of DuPage chasing program!

  • this tornado was on may 12. 2004. i forgot which tornado it might be that day...since there were so many!

  • the reason it was an f0 was it hit no structures!

    it could have most likely been f-2 strencht based on what i saw as rotation speed of the funnel, but there is no way to tell!

  • actually wrabbit, the clouds were gray. this was the most photographic tornado that i have seen! great job with this fish!

  • yeah they do, go to the SPC page and look for the EF-scale. this tornado was before the EF-scale came along!
