How To Remove A Treble Hook Imbeded In Thumb Or Not

Small accident on the boat. He Impaled a fishing hook all the way past the barb in his thumb after channel catfishing. He waited about 1/2hr to get it out. It hurts but anticipation of pain is worse than pain itself. We removed it with a pair of pliers!!! It was just past the barb, not deep at all.

been there, done that haha. i got lucky and hooked my meaty part of my hand so i was able to push it on through and cut the end off and then pull it back through. There are alot of situations where anticipation is worse then the pain itself haha.
