The video has cuts because I tend to skulk through dungeons, making the dungeon take 5x longer than the speed I could probably actually go through it. Just the way I end up playing Elder Scrolls games.

Probably hes training his arching skills, which leads to quicker lvling yourself :)

On the other way it also could be that he is an archer and did put most of skill points in arching skills for attacking instead of melee. Doesnt mean that if your lv44 that your melee skills are good :)

If ur lvl 44, why are u still arching? It'd be much easier to 1 strike kill.
