  • I will NEVER figure out why people are so freaked out about gay marriage. It seems to mostly be based on religion (nothing of which can be proven), and won't affect anyone else's marriage or cheapen marriage at all. In fact, the fact that gay people want to settle down and commit would seemingly be something that people should embrace. Get a life, bigots.

  • Under the heavy make up, Mark Martin, the anchor, seems so far wedged into the closet, he's got hangers up his ass.

  • 2 things. One; don't like gay marriage? don't get one.

Two: Gay marriage doesn't destroy marriage, divorce does.

  • @AVTPro

Now you're just being ignorant. Monogomy (through the commitment of marriage) is the ONLY way to stop the spread of disease. DUH!

  • @beegbolt So your say they should marry because of it will keep them from spreading more disease? I don't think so.

  • @AVTPro

The point is: Gays legally being able to wed promotes fidelity, monogomy, commitment, and a healthy lifestyle. Gay marriage, in no way, demeans hetero marriage and procreation, or affects you. Homosexuals are people, not a behavior.

  • @bballman3113 Homosex in large quanties leads to AIDS and not monogamy. At least by history.

  • @AVTPro Regulated, penalized and taxed, but still not illegal. As for plague and disease, they have been in a steady decline since the "free love" culture of the 70's has disappeared. And since medicine has created "cocktails" of pills for those who are AIDS and HIV positive people with those disease have been living a lot longer. That being said smoking and drinking, in excess for long amounts of time will kill you. Gay sex, with a monogamous partner, in large quantities, will not.

  • @bballman3113 Smoking and Drinking are regulated, penalized and taxed because of the health fatalities. Yet, homosexuality a sexstyle plague with death and disease is being provisioned and supplemented with TAX Cuts, adoption and laws. Do you see the disparity?

  • @carrerasrivera I never said your rights don't matter. But how does gay marriage have any affect on your rights?

  • @AVTPro I'm not sure where that statistic comes from, but AIDS has not been that high among homosexuals since it's outbreak in the 80's. That aside, if we move forward with the premise that AIDS should be outlawed because of it's deleterious affects, then we must apply this same ban of other deleterious actons. Smoking, drinking, driving. All these have high death rates associated with them. Following your argument leads us here. Would you support this?
