I like the "Gods of War" album. I just wish Karl's tone wasn't so fake sounding. When I hear cheap do-it-yourself demos on Myspace or what-not, everyone has the same Line 6 POD guitar tone. Super processed and not organic and real. Hook him up with a JCM 800 with a Boss SD-1, turn it up to 10 and rock the fuck out!

@neiljohnson666 I'm sorry Neil, but the drums on the new EP are absolutely programmed (and not very well either, I suggest Superior Drummer 2.0!). I have no issue with using programmed drums in metal songs, if it's a good song it's a good song... but the dude isn't an idiot (at least about the drums) and you know it (or maybe you don't). At any rate, tell Joey to message me, I could help him program some much more organic, much heavier metal drums!

Thats not analog... so unfortunately red isn't "max power" it's digital clipping, which means you've lost data and the fidelity of the recording has been harmed. Listen to that false metal monstrosity that is "death crapnetic" they REALLY had some max power going on.

Gods of War is easily their best album since Hail to England. Anyone who doesn't see that is blind, or an American who has no comprehension or appreciation of orchestral music. That's why bands like Manowar and Rhapsody (and others) are HUGE around the world, and basically ignored here.
