Many of you have never seen my faithful PowerBook G4. It's a 15' 1.5GhZ model. It's a wonderful computer and I don't know where I would be without it. :) In this video, I take a look at the computer in general, and give my thoughts and views on certain aspects of it.

120GB Hard Disk
ATI Mobility Radeon 9700

  • should i buy a used one for 146 dollar? :D please answer :D

  • @iHDsnipers It's totally up to you man! :) Ask yourself important questions like, "Do I need it? Can this 146$ be spent on something more useful?" etc.. :)

  • You mean 15"? 15' seems to long. (15 feet?)

  • @RobloxProuductions Maybe mines a bit stretched...

  • I'm thinking about buying one of these (bargain on Ebay, and don't really need an intel processor), but I need to know if it can edit and play HD video. Can it?

  • @TrailerTank I'm afraid it can't. It struggles with 720p playback in Quicktime, let alone 1080p. Also, my HD camera and many others record in AVCHD which isn't compatible with PowerPC at all. I recommend getting an early MacBook Pro for only a bit more money, and it'll be able to handle HD.

    Hope this helps.

  • i got a 17'' powerbook G4 :D

  • @ItsMyNaturalColour You need to uncompress it.

    @TrailerTank

  • How do these work with Adobe programs? Like can it run Photoshop CS5?

  • Wow, Great review man.

  • I'm gettin one of these from my cousin whos got a new machine, I already have a custom gaming pc so other than garageband which is what i wanted a mac for, what could you use this for you cant obviously use all the newer software like lion and whatnot, which is pants no reason apple had to stop supporting the Powerpc platform this early especially as there are many folk out there that still use them on a daily basis and cant afford to upgrade, they're still very capable life cut short too early

  • Did you buy your version of Leopard? If not do you know where I can get it?

  • I think I will buy one of these. Soon. Yep.

  • Picked one up from eBay for $43! I'm psyched!
