@MeTaLcOrE1616 It really depends on the rig you use. Hardtails are mainly single track and cross country, then you have the quality of you're rig, DOWNHILL has quickly become more extreme with terrain that would wreck a hardtail on it's first run. My opinion would be that to complete, safely, a recognised downhill run with a hardtail would require a lot of control and skill and would definately result in replaceing parts more often and you're frame WILL GET HAMMERED.
