A multi-camera edit of the first public showing of the new nighttime lagoon show at Universal Studios Florida - It's "Universal's Cinematic Spectacular: 100 Years of Movie Memories". As this was a public technical rehearsal before the grand opening date of May 8, 2012, some things may be added or adjusted from this version. Also keep in mind that this show, like similar shows, is best judged in person. A video can't really do it justice.

100 Years of Horror: 7:05
100 Years of Laughter: 9:25
100 Years of Good vs Evil: 11:28

Stop comparing Universal to Disney! There are two COMPLETELY different parks! Disney aims at children from 2-12 while Universal aims at teens and adults. Being a teen myself, I would much rather prefer Universal to Disney, but that wasnt the case about 4 years ago. No need to compare, I'm a teen and I could I say that I LOVE Universal just as much as Disney.

I wouldn't say that Disney and Universal have their own, separate target audiences. Nor that Disney caters to kids whilst Universal serves the needs of young adults. The two are constantly trying to attract only one mutual thing: people. People who are looking to have a fun and memorable time. People of ALL ages enjoy both resorts.

I saw this and while it was decent, it was also quite boring for the most part

This is just my opinion. The movie clips, fireworks, water, and other effects do not mix well. They all pull your attention and not in a good way. This is nothing compared to Disney's Wonderful World of Color, Wishes, or Illuminations. Those are actual shows that make me cry when I am there. This is just a series of movie clips with distractions. Universal may do some things better than Disney, but from what I have seen not nighttime shows.

I really love universal, but i can not forget the fact that they changed the Back to the future ride in to the Simpsons ride... i just hate them for that... that they put a lot of it in to the nightshow it just seems like an apologize for that...
