@JamesBarcus30 Here you all had a tornado in Huntsville the month after the tornado we had 18 inches of snow on the ground in Brownsville, Tennessee in February 2010 this weather is always screwed up.
What gets me is on EVERY video of a live news broadcast, the reporters have to keep calling to the "tower cam operator" to 'please zoom out a bit and pan to the left......Can you PLEASE PAN TO THE LEFT AND ZOOM OUT A BIT???!' and then maybe 15 seconds later, the operator 'FINALLY' zooms out just enough to see and moves just a little. My problem is, If I were on that joystick for the cam, I'd be ALL OVER THAT THING! No one would need to tell me squat! Those people need 2 b fired is all!!!!!
Radar senses storms above the ground, but there is no other factor that can give ground truth to storms than having either a towercam aimed toward the storm and the ground or a good set of eyes on the ground safely tracking the storm on the ground. Applause should go to the technicians who installed this towercam on the Saturn V Rocket at the Space and Rocket Center...
i like how its allmost like time lapse esspicaly when u watch it backwords. never sen what looks like the middle section of a torando form like that its amazeing
I was in the middle of statistics class when that thing went through. Had I known that the night would be filled with incredible weather, I would have skipped class and filmed but I didn't have my camera with me.
i love dan =)

This tornado was a high-based one, not much surface-based instability that day.
