HST in BC is turfed = awesome

So HST is going away, good. Everyone claiming this will ruin BC need to think back to a couple years ago when BC was still here but HST had yet to come in. And besides, the economy in BC is in trouble far outside of how the tax system is structured.

And those crying about paying back Ottawa, Libs have plenty of "unexpected" increased revenue c/o HST which is more than enough to cover what they owe Ottawa AND put the PST back into place.

Sure we got screwed with the lies about HST, then screwed with the absurdly expensive ad campaign to try and keep it and finally screwed with paying to put the PST system back. But...

At least for one time we stood up and said "go (screw) yourselves" to the dummies who can't budget worth a damn, be honest for more than brief silent interludes between lies and build pointless infrastructure while cutting funding for family, education, mental health, arts, housing etc. etc.

Oh, and your taxes will go down slightly.
