This was built in 1 month.
I show the Z axis working, but I never mounted it onto the Pen component due to torque issues.

This device is controlled by joystick motion.

Very cool! You can easily add a feature to draw from HPGL files, too.

Umm... what's the point, printers are a lot faster. Plus I have to agree with ayeroxor, this isn't that great since it cant make pictures in color or in good quality/detail.
