  • What about the idea of unhingng the left downward at impact, also called ulnar deviation?I see you don't advocate doing that.I just saw a video from Speed Chain who is claimng that this motion by the left wrist is needed and used by Tiger Woods, others instructional video also.He also has a product that trains the wrist to uncock/unhinge downward at impact.Would llike to hear your take.

    Thanks

  • Dude could you go through that one more time, because my brain is in knots after hearing you.

  • Hit the ground a few hundred times like that and go see a hand and wrist specialist. Take a look at the latest and greatest ball flight laws too.

  • @secrettogolf - When I talk about the left wrist keeping flat, I am talking about on the downswing and through impact. How much the shoulder has rotated will dictate where that flat wrist has pointed, and the depends on where the sternum or chest is pointing.

If you are talking about at set up then I think the left wrist should be slightly extended or have a "cup" to it based on the 3D data I have collected and seen.

    Thanks for the comment.

  • Is it OK to have the hand be flat in relation to the arm but have the knuckles at 45 degrees or turned inward or slightly counter clockwise, about 1-2 o'clock?

    Thanks

  • Best t-shirt ever... I don't understand this term "cup". I thought the term was extend. Damn I'm confused.

  • Fascinating.
