chapter 3

i got outside and went to my car. traffic was always horrible here ive been told, but i mean... where is it not busy? i was so excited for tomorow (saturday). i couldnt wait to see edward, not be cause of his looks, but more of his personallity. something about him made me feel like i was loved. but who am i kidding? i bet he hasnt liked a girl in ages! every girl is crushing on him and i dont think i have a chance with him. wait im overreacting, well lets look at the bright side. 1, i was invited by edward to a party and 2, he seemed lik a really nice guy and greeted me and nobody else, well not that i rember. oh crap... what am i gonna wear to the party! i realized i had said that out loud and of course, my luck my window was down at a stop light. i screamed so loud that every one turned their head to me, the girl in the silver volvo. ugg i hate this, i said under my breath and rolled up my window.

when i got home i saw a note on the table, it read...

kaity, went to the grocery store to get some food of course! ill be back around 5ish. if you need me call me, you have my cell number. loveyou, be safe. mom ♥

uhhh, she always treated me like a child, and to tell you the truth, im sick of it. i hustled up the stairs and took out two books, great, lots of homework too. what a teriffic day planed ahead of me.... home work home work and more homework! the first day of school i end up getting a load. ring ring! my phone went off but it was just a text. all it said was heyy. i didnt recognize the number. i textde back.. who is this. i flipped my phone shut the almost right after i shut it another txt came, it said guess i bet you could. right then it hit me... it was edward cullen. i txted back: is it edward? ring ring! another txt came: you guessd it! so what are you doing right now? he said. homework i replyed. ring ring! oh thats gr8 hey well i was wondering what you were planning on wearing. yeah i was wonderin the same thing! what kinda party is it? ring ring! its a surprize... oh great i hated surprizes, i said in my mind. but what sohould i wear edward? i txted. ring ring! i have an outfit planned for you, im going to pick you up tomorow so you can change into the outfit. oh ok thanks edward! i txted. ring ring! dont metion it. he said

we talked for almost what seemed like 4ever! soon it came close to twilight. almost completly dark. edward had to go for a 'family emergency'. i didnt really belive that but he wouldnt lie to me.....would he?

saturday came and i was so pumped to impress him to death! it was only ten thirty so i had a little while to wait then my phone started ring and it was......
