The simple set for the video for 'Rio' subtly captures the spirit of Hey Marseilles' dirge about traveling onwards. Staged in an airplane hanger in a suburb of Seattle, Wash. -- and filmed in one shot -- the video conveys a sense of motion while its subjects, the band members, stay relatively in place. As the action unfolds, some of the song's more metaphorical interpretations are hinted at.

"The video embodies 'Rio's' underlying themes: that the world should be explored to its fullest, every moment serves to set up the next and cool things can be accomplished in concert with friends," frontman Matt Bishop tells Spinner. @SmiLkyBeef. 463k views qualifies as "popular" on many levels. I've listened to several songs, and it is banal, predictable nonsense, with some slightly out of the ordinary instruments tacked on for quirk factor.

Popular? Are they popular now?  I mean, they had a new album come out recently, so maybe in the past 3 days one of their new songs blew up on some random radio station you are tuned into. Not sure what type of music you're into, but I would give this band a try. This "shit" has been around longer then the few days I'm assuming you have been exposed to it.
