Adam Smith also noted that taxes (public revenue) is best derived from land and privilege (such as patents), not labor (people) or capital (e.g. buildings). Modern economists do not have the land in their equation anymore, it does not show up in any GDP. Thus, we turned pretty much slave to the masters who own our earth! Google Ron Paul and Henry George, smarten up to the perpetuated government fraud.

Well, I don't have a whole lot more about Adam Smith, but I do have one about Howard Helvey, if you want it. The coolest part about Adam Smith is that he was captured by gypsies... that's pretty much all you need to know. :)
