We should get a holiday that is not overshadowed by another holiday. And, one that is during the traditional school year so maybe the kids can actually learn something about American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians.

Until I see it on all calendars, like I see black history month and Kings birthday, then it's only good talk with not much support to back it up. But a 'day' alone doesn't even scratch the surface of what has happened in this country. I saw those logos a few years back that 'patriotism is not racism', even though patriotism has been 'built' on racism. We been talking for hundreds of years now. And barely anythings changed. If we want something, we'll have to march and get it ourselves.
