Wow that's TERRIFIC! One of my dream house ideas is a cabin, when I die and go I hope we don't have to have mansions in heaven like it says cuz I'd trade it for a for a cabin in a heart beat!

Sucks to lose that. We lost ours a few years ago.  Frontage on Higgins is GOLD. 4 generations of memories gone for a three quarters of a mil. NOT WORTH IT!

@ConservativeLogic Yeah I know what you mean It's been in my family for three generations aswell. It's all the community boards fault. They proposed the new sewer system that bankrupt the American Legion funds to keep those cabins rentable.

it is the best place for kids to swim...they would have to be real dummies to drown in higgins lake...i miss it soooo much

@judyleeverro1 You have no idea. It's all the fault of the the people who wanted a new massive sewer system installed. It will cost the American Legion so much, that they just quit and sold their cabins to private owners.
