Oh well he did say that in 3-4 seasons he wanted Blues to be in Europe...
I guess it only took 2 seasons, but then Relegation is not helpfull and so next season would be a Europeon Flop than having a go at it, and thats thanks to McLeish's tactics.
Last season after our massive game unbeaten run we soon changed to his negative 4,5,1 with Jerome for last 10-11 games of the season where we finished on relegation form as far as pts/game went
Same happened again this season after we won the cup

Turns out to be a right investment for Carson. Alex McLeish is the right person for the job
first season in PL, surprised everyone, built a fortress in their home, never lost in home games. finished 9th.
second season in PL, a few signings from McLeish, not doing as good as last season, but very likely to survive the relegation zone, also shocked the big boy Arsenal in Carling Cup final.
Either Carson take Birmingham as his rich man toy or a financial investment, it is doing good for him.
