@Gimmeaflakeman Great video! I personally have always wanted to visit Japan but will not even allow myself until I have a better understanding of the culture and language. Sure, i'm a foreigner and there *may* be racism anywhere you go, but that's going to happen if you don't learn to adapt to the culture of where you're going. People who stick out like sore thumbs are easier to pick on, doesn't matter what country you're in.

And im shocked about the homophobia as well! Ive seen so many pitcures and videos of japanese guys with fem features I just assumed they wouldnt mind gay people. B ut then again western culture rears its ugly head and people feel as though they have to go with it.

If you are of Peruvian decent, do you have Japanese blood ? Peru does have the 2nd largest Japanese population in South America, and # 1 in Brazil. In Japan they do treat foreigners on a pedestal, but its white foreigners or Caucasian. But other asians are treated like shit from what I understand....what do you think about the treatment of Zainichi Koreans ?

@Gimmeaflakeman Apparently a lot of people worry about racism in Japan and you are one of few people who have addressed this issue on youtube. Another user, AkitaTom, has a Racism in Japan video with 118k views, also made 2 years ago.

Woow. Interesting. First of all I am shocked that you suffered from racism in the US, you would seem white by the standards in my country (Romania) and in such a diverse country I would expect people to find it normal for someone from a "different" background to be just as American as them.

On Japan I am shocked on the homophobia considering that lots of young Japanese seem to be/dress very effeminate.
