@craigandtheresa03 is it really that bad?? I vacationed there this past summer and had a great time. My in-laws are actually looking at retirement property in the area, but then again I'm not a local so I don't know what happens at night.

If you are thinking about Lake Tansi...DON'T. It is the most lawless drung infested place I have ever seen. I have lived there almost 10 years and it has deteriorate terribly. The security is a joke. The management only cares about the golf course. It looks like the slums of Crossville. I actually moved out of our home and just left it. It is not a place to raise your family.
