Good question. Unfortunately, we were lead to believe that Iraq had WMD's, had something to do with 911, and supported Al Queada. Who wouldn't protect their family and nation if it was under attack. As we know, it was all LIES!

Al Qaeda was started, organized, trained,& instructed by the CIA. Don't give me dribble about funding.

I use sticks & stones as a metaphor. They dont' have nukes, they don't have warplanes or warships. They have homemade bombs and weapons supplied by or left behind by US while WE are ruining their lives!

If the chinese bombed and occupy my hometown, I would declare war on them too! I'd blow myself up If i believed It was right. i'd prefer to watch them die, but good luck getting that close.

@8421128 id say thats a bit of a naive question wouldnt you....its the same reason US citizens were angry with iraq after being told they were responsible for 911, that they had weapons of mass destruction. the government took advantage of good american patriotism to line their own pockets. (the carlysle group).

He points out a very valid point. In a direct democracy the majority rules, always. In a republic the laws are upheld, that means peoples freedom, liberty, and rights are not infringed upon no matter what the majority votes. It's true we still have a republic in that there are representatives, but these men and women uphold the majority, not the constitution.
