My fav. lines are:
Then I knew that you were gone/ it came to me I was alone
and
And as the dawn begins to break/she's gone it's hard to take/it's such a lonely world.
One of ELO's best songs!!!!

This song has a LOT of George Harrison influence in it, in my opinion, which isn't at all a bad thing. LOVE this song!!! Never heard it before I found it here and am so glad I ran across it!!!

This song gives me that same old punch in the gut, stab me in the heart feeling I've gotten from so many ELO songs over the years. Jeff could always bring me to tears and put a lump in my throat.

My Favourite song.
ELO forever
Beautifully crafted song. Bittersweet. Especially in the second verse, where the great Jeff Lynne sings: "Now I´m left out in the cold/but the story´s far from told/it´s such a lonely world". And to you - jlowry71: I love the video. Brilliant work and great tribute to Lynne and ELO. Harrison was right - "All things must pass", and this song and your video always makes me both sentimental and sad - and happy: The music of Jeff Lynne/ELO, and your video, will live forever.

I went with a nostalgic look back at the history of ELO from its beginnings, which included Roy Wood to its end, which was just Jeff Lynne.
