Dazzle's First Jumping Lesson

Jan. 08. Dazzle is a 3 yr old Appaloosa filly. When she is 5 she will begin jumping under-saddle, so until then she has to learn to free jump through a chute. Learning to balance while jumping and learning how to carry herself without a rider now will set her up for an easy transition to under-saddle later. Also, if a horse is going to have a healthy jumping career, they must build up the bone density while they are young. Dazzle will not jump anything high or be asked to jump with a rider until she is 5 years old.
