Let's Play Civ IV Multiplayer - Mao 1

Hello! This is a post-commentary recording of one of the multiplayer games I play with the polycast crew on weekends. The players:

Cherry Tapping (me): Mao of China
DanQ: Shaka of Zulu
Maki: Wang of Korea
qnl: Augustus of Rome (IIRC)
MLS: Willem of Dutch

This run starts about halfway through and goes until we name a winner! I will discuss random strategy aspects, the differing starts, and adjusting to odd maps. It's coop; with the humans unwilling to attack me, and the AI too stupid, there's no point to adding more troops in behind-lines cities

Funny... although your name is 'Cherry Tapping', you don't perform any cherry tapping. I'd frikkin love to see some in Civ IV.

For those who don't know what cherry tapping is: It means destroying the enemy with a really bad character or weapon.

What would you say if your Kyogre gets one-hitted by a Magikarp? And what if your robot army with nuclear weapons gets overrun by a horde of stone-age warriors?

This is totally humiliating. Still you'll have lots of fun doing this yourself >:3

China is a pretty bad pick, although technically not the worst. The real problem here is that nobody ever agrees to play immortal+ so it's going to be easy no matter what I do.

I once cherry tapped a 4 samurai with only 2 an archer and a warrior but they were super experienced

What screen recorder do you use? I'm yet to find one that can produce a good quality video of 10mins under 5GB!

I can only see what’s going on in full-screen, when the control bar doesn’t stay in view, and pausing is not quick enough at your speed. I still enjoy your comments, it’s only more how I enjoy “Penny Arcade”: I know nothing of nearly all the games, but the basic comedy doesn’t depend on that, and I still get a laugh.

Please, simply talk & shift map slower; I’m dizzy and overloaded.

is this civ 4 warlords or just an update cause i never saw that character in the diplomacy screen.
