Absolute tosh! My PC running XBMC and plugged into the 50"'r is better than this dribble! And the final nail in the coffin... they couldn't even be bothered to upload the clip in HD!

    Yeah, THEY DON'T GET IT.

I'm a "user" and I can tell you this is not the interface I want on my TV.

It's still far too complicated and convoluted.

Maybe have a wee look at what Apple's doing with the Apple TV user interface...

That's a lot closer to what we're after than your own solution.

    YOU DON'T GET IT.

    Trust me on this.

If this is the best Motorola can come up with, then Apple has nothing to worry about.

This is interesting and I'm intrigued by the fact that some of your current generation set top boxes were shown in the beginning of the video. Am I wrong to be skeptical that I'll ever see this UI on my existing Motorola DVR? I would imagine this interface will only make it to new boxes so Motorola can sell more hardware. If that's the case, I'll stick with Google TV for the time being.

We don't want to see pictures and no text. Standalone thumbnails are so much less useful than thumbnails with text. And please, don't truncate titles after 15 characters - oftentimes, that's where the details of the program are.

When can we expect this to roll out to Verizon FIOS subscribers?
