  • @maqsizu Hi, glad you liked the video. Just use any kind of silk, it doesn't matter. Habotai or pongee is a good type to work with. But make sure you buy silk dyes from your supplier, not the paints. Then you can't go wrong. Have fun! :-)

  • Thank You so much for all your videos. All of them was very helpful for me. I started to paint on silk two days ego and I enjoying so much...

    Thanks again!

    Regards,

    Inga

  • @bellbrook418 Hi - I never use a microwave and only bought this for the scarves. I've been assured that when cling film is over the bowl, nothing is getting out. However, health and safety. Don't do as I do. Just buy a separate one if you are concerned. :-)

  • Hi Fiona - that looks great but can you use the same microwave that you use for food? I have read elsewhere you shouldnt.

  • @ninisniche That's really fabulous to hear Linda. That's what these videos are all about. Please send me photos of your work and I'd love to share them on the blog. Thanks a lot. :-)

  • Hi Fiona, I dyed 4 silk scarves today. So much fun. I had your video up on my computer, so you 'talked me through it'. Thanks so much for a great tutorial!
